Summer 2015 Potipot Island, Zambales : Summer Skin Care

I’m already missing the beach! I had an awesome time with my friends and  families,  I’m such a beach baby . Forgive all my beach post coming up because I have five beach getaway to blog. It's because  I love the sea, the sand and the sun. I'm not afraid to be tan or get even darker..,,,, In just a month now,
the intense heat of summer begins to fade into cooler mornings and chilly evenings, it’s a great time to take a step back and analyze what the summer has done to our skin. the summer is barely another month long, so everyone is in a craze of seizing-the-day the entire duration, feels like rainy season is just around the corner. So, we’re serious about our adventures:  beach , hiking, swimming, sunbathing, taking roadtrips . It’s easy to fly through summer without thinking about our skin. So, today, let’s take a moment to care for our skin,
Facial Massage  There are many benefits to facial massage, including increased microcirculation and bloodflow, boosted oxygenation, reduced tension and speedy lymph drainage of toxins and buildup, leading to an overall healthier, more glowy look. Going to a spa and getting a proper treatment is one way to get the job done, but conducting a simple facial massage on yourself is a quick, 5-minute way to help your skin look more awake.

Detox Juice Recipe:  I have read about  Carrots give the body a boost of Vitamin A to speed up healthy liver function, while parsley, rich in Vitamins C, antioxidants and chlorophyll contribute to a strong immune system and a purified cardiovascular system. Spinach contains tons of glutathione, a protein that helps detoxify the liver, and apple helps the body reduce heavy metal buildup with a soluble fiber called pectin. I  recommend making this juice daily for a week, to help the body (and therefore the skin) flush away toxin and pollution buildup from outdoor exposure.  Intensive Skin Polish Treatment ,Get the skin back to its softest, smoothest, most glowing self  with a super-exfoliation treatment. By completely clearing the skin of buildup, you’re not only revealing your freshest, most youthful skin, but you’re minimizing pores, brightening the complexion and prepping the skin to better receive products that follow, whether it’s a collagen serum or a deep moisturiser. This is too intense of a treatment to do daily, but doing it once a week is a perfect amount. Taking Care of our skin, and the most important is  about Choosing the right products
Apply sunscreen religiously – Look for sunscreen that offers both UVA and UVB protection. Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before stepping out and reapply every few hour .Don’t miss the moisturiser –
Hydration is important even in summer, so never miss this step in your daily routine. Heat, sun, humidity and air conditioning causes the skin to become dehydrated hence it’s important to use a light moisturiser during the day and a heavy, more hydrating moisturiser before bed so that the moisture is restored.
Don’t skip on eye creams and lip-balms – Sun causes damage to the skin and will gradually lead to thinning of skin and cause wrinkles. The delicate areas of the skin have to be protected.
Use a light formula for eye cream and always use a lip balm with SPF. Protect your hands and feet too .
When applying moisturiser and SPF make sure you also bring it down to your neck and chest, this is the area that gives away your age quickly. Invest in a hand cream and foot cream with SPF. Your hands and feet need protection too. Add antioxidants to your routine.
Skin care products containing antioxidants help in reversing the sun damage. Make sure to invest in products which have Vitamin C and E Exfoliate – depending on your skin type, ensure you exfoliate at least two to three times a week to remove dead skin cells.
In addition to all the above tips, please make sure you dress to protect. Lightweight, cotton cover-ups along with a cap or broad-brimmed hat will act as shields from harmful UV rays. Also, keep yourself hydrated to prevent heat stroke.
